Halloween at the Y
The Salem Family YMCA continues its annual tradition of family fun with Halloween at the Y on October 31 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy this FREE, safe indoor event offering crafts, games, activities, trick-or-treating and prizes.
Activities include prize "fishing", ghost bowling, mummy wrap, skeleton mask and more. New this year is a "Thriller Dance". The public is invited to come and learn how to move like Michael Jackson in his classic Thriller video. Thriller Dance lessons will be taught by faculty from the Y's own Inspiration Dance Company.
Sponsor Salem Electric has made carnival prizes for the event possible.
The community is also invited to donate candy to the event. Bags of candy can be dropped off at the YMCA front desk anytime during open hours.
